Kingston By Bike Tours

Kingston Mills Bicycle Tour

Looking for a more adventurous bike ride? Join us on our half-day Kingston Mills Picnic tour! This tour makes its way up to the Kingston Mills locks on the Rideau Canal before stopping for lunch. On the return trip, the tour will include stops such as Barriefield Village, Fort Henry, and RMC campus.

Cyclists wishing to take these tours are strongly advised to wear helmets and must be willing to obey the rules of the road.

I live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, located at the point where Lake Ontario turns into the St. Lawrence River. My interests range from history and the arts to the myriad wonders of the natural world and the scientific implications of global warming on our planet's complex biosphere. The promotion of urban cycling and bicycle tourism has been another of my interests over the years and I have held leadership roles on City Hall cycling committees in both Toronto and Kingston. For the next several years I will be the appointed cycling and ecotourism advisor for the South Eastern Ontario (RTO9) provincial tourism district and I also have the honour of being a facilitator and presenter for the Climate Reality Project.
