Life jackets, and all safety equipment included.

Credit card number required for all rentals.  A fee payable by Visa or Master card equal to the first hour is needed for all reservations.  No refund is provided 24 hrs before rental.  Please indicate time you want the boat and for how long.  Arrive at least 15 minutes before as the rental will start at the time you specify.  The boat will be rigged and ready to go. Rescues are provided at no charge unless the mishap was caused by negligence or inability to sail.

Hobie 16

This popular catamaran needs no introduction. Equipped with dual trapeze, anti turtling mast float makes it a lot easier to right.

Hobie Wave

The Hobie Wave is designed for new sailors.
Very stable, it is a favorite boat for sailing instruction. She also performs very well in winds of 15 knots, that is as long as you don't mind getting wet!!

Laser 1

The Laser 1 is suited to both beginner and expert sailors. It is one of the two boats we use to instruct sailing. The Hobie Wave is the other.

This is a self rescue boat, i.e.. very easy for one person to right.

CL 14

A responsive boat that is easy to control, the double chinned hull adds stability. The deep open cockpit provides dry comfortable sailing with easily accessible forward storage. Take along a picnic and head to the Gazebo on Cedar Island. This is part of the St. Lawrence Parks, and for $5 you can tie off at the docks.

Hunter 140

The Hunter 140 is a fabulous family day sailor.  A wide beam keeps its stable and dry while its planning hull allows it to really move.  Suitable for beginner to experienced sailor.  This is the boat of choice for instruction.

Learn to Sail

"Hands on" sailing instruction with an experienced sailor. You will be in control of the boat at all times with helpful guidance from your instructor. The boats used for this will be either the Laser 1 or Hobie Wave.

  $95 - per person - 2 hours individual instruction
$150 - for 2 people - 3 hours instruction

This way of introducing people to sailing has proven very popular over the years at Ahoy Rentals for the following reasons:

• Flexibility: Choose a time that best suits YOUR busy schedule

• One-on-one Learning: The instructor gives you 2 full hours of his/her attention to teach you, answer your questions and monitor your progress

• Time: Learn the basics of sailing in only 2 hours

This will allow you (given favourable wind conditions) to bring a friend down and take them out to experience the joys of sailing

Weekdays from 10:00am to 7:00pm
Weekends at 10:00am

Material will be provided before hand
Please call ahead, and give at least 3 days notice.
